The beautiful Marquis Hotel was built in the 18th century as a holiday home for the 3rd Marquis of Bute. Around 1920 it was converted into a fine hotel and retains many of the original features and has fine sea views.

Great breakfast
I usually stay at this hotel when attending an event in Torquay. The location is good and it is good value.
Beautiful propery. Wonderful large twin room. Big bathroom. Clean and tidy. Nice staff. Lovely breakfast
Comfortable and clean beds.
Breakfast was good, staff very friendly and helpful; location for our purpose perfect. Garden room with parking ideal for us.
